Known as fitkari in Hindi, alum is a naturally occurring salt that is packed with many health benefits. Combining aluminium sulfate with potassium sulfate, it is known for its beneficial properties for centuries. It must be applied on the face after shaving, as it can stop the bleeding from cuts, and heal the skin. Blend fitkari and rock salt in warm water and rinse the mouth with it to stop bad breath. Fitkari available in small to large translucent white crystals.
